X-Ray Services

Is the pain in your child’s wrist a minor sprain, or a fracture that requires a cast? Could your flu actually be pneumonia? For certain medical concerns, an X-ray is a necessary first step toward getting proper treatment. Get fast, affordable x-rays at our urgent care center today.
X-ray machines use electromagnetic radiation to generate images of the structures and tissues inside the body. These diagnostic images allow doctors to more accurately evaluate your condition and provide you with the best course of treatment.

  • Bowel obstructions
  • Acute appendicitis
  • Renal artery stenosis
  • Kidney failure

The X-ray Process

Getting an X-ray is simple, and requires no special preparation. We recommend patients wear loose, casual clothing and remove all jewelry. Please make sure to tell your technician if you are pregnant, or may be pregnant.

An X-ray exam will usually take about 15 minutes, but the duration may vary. The technologist will position you on the exam table, and give you instructions. In most cases, we take multiple images of the affected area to ensure that all angles are covered. It’s our goal to make you feel at ease, and you will have the opportunity to ask questions.
